On March 23, 2020, the Moroccan Ministry of Health issued a circular authorizing off label use hydroxychloroquine or chloroquine in combination with azythromycin as first-line treatment for all COVID-19 patients. The aim this study is to detect, assess and manage safety signals from individual cardiovascular adverse events (AE) reported. Methods : During COVID19 pandemic, pharmacovigilance surveillance was based on spontaneous targeted notification health facilities. Newsletters suitable reporting form were sent AEs mandatory. collected analyzed causality assessment using WHO method Preventavility used detect any preventable ADR. Safety detected qualitative method. Results As December 31, total 527 have been reported NPC related Hydroxychloroquine Chloroquine among Covid 19 We received 09 cases medication error including one drug interaction 3 cases, dose errors 5 case both errors, these validated ad managed signals. Discussion conclusion signal concerned QT prolongation, hypokalaemia arrythmias, due high azithromycin interactions hypokalaemic drugs. during technical committee, recommendations established avoid occurrence similar cases.
